Zoie

Zoie first fell in love with Veterinary nursing when she did her school work-experience week at Sugarloaf Animal Hospital in 2017. Soon after, she started her Certificate II in Animal Studies during years 11 and 12. In 2018, she enrolled in Veterinary Nursing Certificate IV, while also doing some volunteer work.
In November 2018, Zoie started part-time work at Sugarloaf as an Animal Attendant until May 2019, when she completed her Tafe course and was immediately offered a full-time position as a Vet Nurse. Zoie has continued her education and is now one of the Senior Vet nurses at SAH, with a particular expertise in exotics.
Zoie has a special interest in animal nutrition and in behavioral therapy and medication for dogs. She plans to attend a behavioural course next year, now that travel restrictions have been lifted.
Outside of work, Zoie likes to grab a bite to eat somewhere, or go for a walk around the Lakeside with her rescue Pug, Lola, whose favourite pastime is costing Zoie money!
