I grew up in Canada, where I got a bachelor’s degree in animal biology, before moving to Australia for vet school and where I have decided to stay to start my career with Sugarloaf Animal Hospital.

Before coming here, I had cared for all kinds of unusual pets including fish, canaries, a chameleon, bearded dragons, ball pythons and many more. I have a particular interest in reptiles and have been able to watch their husbandry and medicine advance over the years, so I am excited to be a part of that.

Work-experience placements in small animal, exotic, and wildlife clinics made me realise that I love the challenge of treating such a wide variety of species, so Sugarloaf is the perfect place to broaden my knowledge.

  Today I said  goodbye to dear Cindy, a beautiful girl 6yrs old.
